Christmas day

One day there was a girl  named
Holly.  She was decorating the
christmas tree.She was happy when she put on the golden balls.
She put out some decorations for
the house.when her mum and
dad came home thay were happy.
When it was christmas day Holly
made a wish to go to the North Pole and go to toy factory to see
the elves.She was happy when
she saw them. Holly told her
brother that she had been to
the North Pole and he wanted to go there too.

Cats and the baker

One day the cats were hungry. They ran everywhere but the cats found the Pizza shop. The cats could smell the Pizzas.  The baker gave them some pizzas to eat.  He was nice  to the cats.  Now the cats were not hungry. They went back home and went to sleep.

Looking
for  some food.  He found some birds
to eat up in the tree . The cat tried to get up but the tree but he was so fat he couldn't climb the tree. Then the mother
bird  came back with their food.

Make ten

I am learning to add three or more numbers by
first making up pairs that add up to 10..

On Sunday I went to my nan’s and I was  watcing tv.
After that I went on my scooter and me and brother had a race.We traded scooters. I raced on his scooter and he was on my scooter. Nathan won the race because
his legs went faster than mine.

spaghetti

Last night  my father made us some spaghetti
for dinner. He makes the best meatballs in the
world! I ate lots of spaghetti. My brother spilled
sauce  on his  white shirt. We all laughed
I love when my dad makes spaghetti!

my Holiday

On Sunday I was playing need for speed carbon. Me and
my brother Nathan we did lots of races to win some money for a car. I bought a RX8 and a Dodge.

When I was done with my game I went outside to ride on my brother’s bike.

The Broken Glass   by Damien Quist

“It’s a goal!” yelled James.James and Emma  watched
as the ball flew over the wall. Then there was
silence broken only by the tinkling sound of  
broken glass.
Emma went to the school next door to get the
ball. The ball had gone into the principal’s office.
The principal was working at his desk and the ball had smashed the glass over his head.
The principal had to go hospital. James was grounded for
a week .He had to give all his pocket money to the principal to pay for the broken window.

Meals for the Brain and Body

On Wednesday we went to wash our hands. Then we went in the hall kitchen to make a roast dinner We washed our potatoes and we cut the potatoes in half and put them in the pot. Next we got some kumaras and we cut them and put them in the dish. After that we got some cut cauliflower and cut the cabbage went put it in dish. We walked back to Mrs Slade’s room to  wait for morning tea. Later Moses came to get me and Mohammed and Cowan to come and have our dinner.

Fractions

I am learning to make fractions. To make fractions we need to cut them.

On Wednesday morning we had breakfast in the literacy group. We had 2 weetbix each. We put a teaspoon of
sugar on our weetbix and poured some milk into the
bowl and put hot water on it. We put some yoghurt

and a banana on our weetbix. We had a cup each                       to put some milo in.I put some sugar and some
hot water and milk into. It was delicious.

Martial arts

To do martial arts you need to practice very hard every day
so you can get in the semi finals to win a gold medal.
First we join a Judo club.Then we  started going up the grades to the black belt.

When I grow up I am going to practice judo
so I can get better at judo. I will join a club so I can
get more belts and get the black belt.

Running the Race
Nick  willis is the captain of the New Zealand Olympic team. He runs 1500 metres. Nick Willis trains very hard. Nick Willis was carrying the New Zealand  flag opening ceremony. Nick Willis he warm ups when he races for  our  country.
To  train hard  we run every day.
We have to go to the  reserve and cross the road
and we run up to the reserve  and  cross  another road .
When we are finished  and  walk  
around  the courts.

Olympic opening ceremony

I saw Mr Bean and then I saw the Queen, James Bond and Mike McRoberts.The Queen and James Bond got into the helicopter and two people jumped out with their parachutes .Then the olympics opened and they let off fireworks

Going fishing


One day a boy and his dad went fishing on the rocks.
The boy got a big fish the boy was happy because his
dad got a little fish.They went home and they scaled the fish and they cleaned the fish. After that they cooked the fish and ate it.

My Cat

I have a cat.
My cats name is Rusco.
I keep my cat in the lounge room.
My cat is a boy.
He eats cat food and fish.
I made a bed for him in my Mum's room.
I play with my cat. We play a game with laces.

One  day  there  was a wild tiger hunting for meat.
He saw some deer.``deer were afraid of the tiger.
The wild animal chased them into the jungle.
The deer were too  fast and they got away.
